Colour Green Gem
What gemstone is this?
I recently acquired a ring that has a magenta stone in the center with two smaller white/light pink stones on either side. In sunlight, the white/light pink gems turn a seafoam green color. I tried Google-ing it, but came up with nothing. Any idea what stone this could be?
It’s alexandrite
Alexandrite changes from pink to green in different lighting conditions.
Alexandrite is a color changing variety of a mineral known as chrysoberyl
