Ok, i see you really want to use the Charmers in your deck.
Make the deck focussing arround the Charmers is a bit difficult, but the strategy of using Charmers is fun, especially if you build the deck well.
I’m the Charmer duelist, and i always using Charmers in my deck. You can try one of the deck i made, it’s still annoying for meta decks that rely on Special Summoning monsters:

The strategy is simple.
Simply activate Black Garden, and set your Charmers. Any monsters summoned (except flip summoned), will lose half of its ATK, protecting your Charmers. Black Garden can special summon Rose Token to opponent’s field too. Use Dharc to take control the token. You can also use & recycle Scroll of Bewitchment to easily change opponent’s monster attribute so they can be controlled with your Charmers. I already test this deck several times, and its fine. I’m also posting the duel in Yugioh WC 2009 using this deck in Youtube.
Actually, there’s many strategies you can use with Charmers. Hope this helps.
