For many years i took my inspiration from Stevie and i still love her music. I came up with a few tricks.
Buy yourself a really big black chiffon scarf about 150cm x 150cm. You can use it in millions of ways as a skirt, scarf, a top, you can tie it around a hat, under or over other skirts, cape etc. etc. it’s the easiest way and the most effective.
I used to spend whole days in thrift-stores looking for seventies, eighties-style clothes with loads of lace and ribbons. The best place to buy comfy and fairy-like dresses are ballett-shops.
They sell leotards with attached chiffon-skirts, and they sell really pretty shoes, dancing shoes that
look really great with legwarmers (a must anyway for any Stevie-Fan), which you can buy at the same shop!
Stevie herself said in various Interviews that during the Rumours era and until today she wears dresses that have all the same cut, like a uniform and she accessorizes so it looks like a completely new outfit.
Stevie Nicks inspired whole generations to come, and a lot of romatic goths state Stevie as an inspiration so check out some Gothic-Clothing sites in the net.
