Radiant Diamond Engagement
Diamond Question?
I am very fortunate to have a beautiful platinum wedding set. My center stone is 1.75 radiant cut color e great quality. My engagement ring is nice as well. But I’d really like a new center stone. How do I tell him w/o seeming like a gold digging, selfish wench? We’ve been married for 7 years, he told me after 5 we would upgrade. I want to upgrade. I have a bunch of kids, stay at home w them, shop for my clothes @ costco. Besides my diamond earrings, these are the only pieces I have. Be honest– I mean do you love your ring or would you like to change it if you could afford it?
Okay you have almost a 2 carat ring and you want bigger??? Ouch, well I have a 1. 78 and i LOVE IT I would not want to change it for the world. If your financial are there and you can afford to buy a new ring bigger than 1.75, your looking at about 20,000 for a good quality ring. THat is a lot of money, wouldn’t you rather put that money for your kids college fund or someting. Maybe you can use that diamond but put it on a different band, something with more diamonds or something. Personally I think your ring is probably beautiful and you should keep it and use the money for something else, like a new car or college for kids. GL
